Thanks to Keith Olbermann for his unrelenting challenges to lies, hatred, and false prophets. His callout to Beck, was welcomed. A call to rally. He's dead serious, with an "I'm not going to take it, anymore!" delivery.
Now, a story in the New York Times equates Olbermann's rallying his supporters to Billo's ambush tactics. David Carr is worried where it might stop.
Well, so am I. Carr is part of the problem. He may as well have written about how vaccinations undermine our ability to get sick.
Keith Olbermann invited us to send him everything you can find about Glenn Beck, Stu Burguiere, and Roger Ailes, leading some to believe there was to be a scalding "Special Comment", or another hit on Fox News. David Carr wrote in the NY Times:
Decoder is all for fearless reporting, but making commentator and media executives the target of investigations reminds us of the ambush interviews that "The O’Reilly Factor" was doing earlier this year that Brian Stelter wrote about in The New York Times.
NTY Media Decoder.
While Beck and O'Reilly fan the flames of hate and bigotry, Olbermann likes to poke fun at, and dismember their rants. Will he go rogue? Send out Ross the Intern?
